Curator (curatorapp.net) is an inventory and publishing platform for people who collect and sell things: collectors, artists, resellers, and small galleries. One person, full AI stack: strategy, design, and every line of shipped code. Soft-launch MVP in Q3 2026; multi-tenant with publishing live in production by the end of Q4 2026.

The Spreadsheet and the Storefront

Every serious collection lives in two places that never agree.

Every serious collection ends up in two places. The inventory truth sits in a spreadsheet, or nowhere; the public face, the part people actually see, lives on marketplaces you don’t own. Keeping anything in sync is manual work, so it doesn’t happen.

The market splits the same way. Reseller tools are pure back-office. Publishing tools have no inventory backbone. Notion comes closest and still loses on images, bulk import, and any path to selling. The gap isn’t under-served. It’s empty by composition.

An inventory-based source of truth for collectors and resellers that publishes a beautiful, minimal public surface.

The product thesis

The Hypothesis: The Catalog Is the Product

One system that holds the inventory and publishes the storefront beats two glued together.

The bet has two halves. One system that holds the inventory and publishes the surface beats two systems glued together by discipline. And the catalog is data flexible dependent on the owner’s needs. Intuitive and easy, elegant and robust.

The product in motion, from inventory to published gallery.

The native iOS app. The product, not a port.

Curator is iOS-first: the native app is the product; web is the companion for big-screen work. For someone whose inventory lives in a camera roll, capture is the front door. Photograph it, shape it, publish it, all from a pocket.

Live in production by the end of Q4 2026: multi-tenant workspaces, batch import with dry-run, bulk image upload, and shareable public galleries with server-rendered social cards. In flight: user-defined fields, multi-image items, and eBay import.

The Pilot: One User at a Time

Invite-only, one user at a time, instrumented before the first one lands.

The pilot runs invite-only across native iOS and web, one user at a time, each with a 48-hour check-in before the next invite goes out. Individuals first; the same workspace model stretches to teams and small orgs through invites and roles. And it’s instrumented before the first user lands, so it produces data, not anecdotes.

Import Success

Rows landing clean, by source

What the pilot decides, the launch inherits: pricing, free-tier limits, the first-run path. All of it on the road to an App Store release targeting Q1 2027.
